Location: Remote (Candidates must reside within a 2-hour drive of Charlotte, NC)

Role Overview

As the Director of Product Management for Experience & Partner Enablement, you will directly report to the Chief Technology Officer and play a vital role in defining our client and partner interactions. Acting as the “voice of the customer,” you will possess deep expertise in our product offerings, closely aligned with market demands, customer expectations, and competitive benchmarks. Your insights will be crucial in shaping product strategy, establishing the roadmap, and ensuring overall success in a dynamic environment where your contributions will deliver tangible outcomes influencing product development, marketing initiatives, and the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring they align with overarching business goals, market requirements, and emerging trends in financial technology.
  • Guide a dynamic, cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture dedicated to delivering high-quality products in a timely manner.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze user needs, industry trends, and competitive developments, translating findings into product enhancements that drive growth and elevate user experiences.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including IRA providers, 401(k) recordkeepers, retirement-focused advisors, and mutual fund investment providers, to discern their needs and explore opportunities for platform advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely product feature delivery, managing the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch, including requirements gathering, feature prioritization, and release management.
  • Leverage data and analytics to assess product performance, pinpoint enhancement opportunities, and inform critical decision-making processes.
  • Guarantee all products comply with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks, working in conjunction with legal and compliance teams to effectively manage risk.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in fintech, AI, automation, and market dynamics to ensure our platforms are competitive and innovative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in fintech or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex product initiatives in financial services or trading environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the retirement savings and tax-advantaged investment sector.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
