Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and sales teams to assess production challenges and identify tailored automation solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions to gather insights and pinpoint requirements.
  • Analyze production specifications, value drivers, and project constraints to develop effective automation strategies.
  • Design and propose automation solutions using a diverse portfolio of industry-standard products.
  • Present solution proposals and pricing to clients, iterating based on feedback to drive successful sales outcomes.
  • Engage with senior leadership within client organizations to facilitate proposal acceptance and close sales opportunities.
  • Ensure seamless transitions from the Sales/Solutions team to Deployment, guaranteeing prompt implementation of solutions.
  • Manage concurrent projects and proposals, maintaining high levels of organization.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for procedural or design enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Deliver key insights to leadership, fostering continuous improvement in our offerings.
  • Conduct site visits when required to gather essential data and strengthen client relationships.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in production or operational management within sectors such as consumer packaged goods, food production, or manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of experience overseeing end-of-line packaging operations.
  • A technical or engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with end-of-line packaging automation, especially palletizing and case packing.
  • Proficiency in CAD drafting methodologies.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at prioritizing competing demands.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication skills, facilitating collaboration across various teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, along with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or engineering field.
