Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Marketing Automation Manager to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining our Salesforce platform to facilitate the success of our marketing initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing Salesforce performance, supporting our end-users, and collaborating closely with various stakeholders to design, implement, measure, and enhance automated communication strategies that engage a diverse range of audience segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the Salesforce environment, ensuring that user accounts, security settings, and system performance are optimized effectively.
  • Design and enhance automated lifecycle campaigns across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, SMS, and more, to drive conversion, customer retention, and maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Develop database marketing strategies informed by user behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle stages.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of campaign performance to identify areas for A/B testing and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across functions, working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and workflows to align with business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users, addressing troubleshooting inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Manage data import, export, and quality control within Salesforce to ensure CRM data integrity.
  • Generate and oversee reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Salesforce-related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and process enhancements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in developing multi-channel automated journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear conveyance of technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce features and functionalities is essential.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven track record as a Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CRM Manager, or in a similar capacity, with a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
  • Experience in financial services marketing is highly desirable.
