Do you want to be part of developing a global, world-class, service business?

Port Services is looking for a Product Portfolio Manager, to drive the service product management function. Productized service products help Konecranes to fulfil our commitment to supporting customers’ assets throughout their entire lifecycle.

Business Unit Port Services, a critical part of Business Area Port Solutions, is a known and trusted service partner within the port industry. Port Services offers a wide range of services both internally and externally. These services are, for example; maintenance and inspection agreements, retrofit and modernization packages, spare parts, training, consulting and digital services for port equipment manufactured by Konecranes as well as other manufacturers.

As a Product Portfolio Manager, you will be running the product management organization cooperating with all other Port Services units, equipment lines, R&D and external customers globally. You will be responsible for ensuring the business unit has a constant funnel of new product ideas, is running development projects effectively, has highly standardized service products and has an organization that knows how to sell and deliver the products. You will also be part of the Port Services Technology management team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage and own the service product management function for Port Services

  • Develop the product management processes, tools and reporting

  • Liaise with Sales, Frontlines, new equipment teams, suppliers and partners to form portfolio strategies and roadmaps

  • Build and train the product management organization

  • Support the business unit in budgeting and financial planning (short and long-term)

  • Participate in the development of the Technology unit as a whole

Why join us?

In this role, you will have an unique opportunity to become a key contributor in the transformation of the business unit Port Services into a world-class service provider. You will have the privilege of working with experienced professionals from different fields as well as with our valued end customers globally.

What should you bring?

To succeed in this role, you need to have, in addition to a business-driven mindset and engineering skills, excellent collaboration skills as you will be interacting globally with multiple stakeholders. For you, working and managing things remotely is not a habit force-learned by the Covid-19 pandemic, but a skill mastered over years of practice. You are a passionate and self-driven product management professional having the “going above and beyond” -mindset in everything you do.

What we also expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business administration or years of experience in an equivalent field
