The IT Engineering Team is a pioneering competence center, that unites senior professionals from different backgrounds. Together we guide the development and continuous improvement of a high-performance, scalable and secure payment system. To allow TWINT to grow and expand, we need you in the role of a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer - in Zurich or Bern with Home Office.

Your impact at TWINT:

• Design, build and maintain future TWINT platforms using Azure public cloud services
• Build, automate and optimize the DevOps platform to enhance developer productivity
• Improve software quality through tools like JFrog Artifactory/XRay and SonarQube
• Take ownership of infrastructure-as-code, application lifecycle, and CI/CD pipelines all the way to production
• Collaborate closely with developers, SREs and  DevOps Engineers throughout the organization to bring innovative software solutions to the market in a flexible, timely, and high-quality manner
• Manage the interactions between our various products which include backends, mobile applications, websites and connections to financial institutions and retailers
  
• Contribute to both conceptual planning and hands-on implementation

Your Profile:

• A degree in computer science (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent education
• Several years experience with public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle and DevOps methodologies
• Strong experience in working with modern CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI) and GitOps (e.g. ArgoCD)
• Several years experience with Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible and Terraform
• Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
• Knowledge or interest in learning Kafka
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good English language skills; German is a plus
