Job description

Assistant Case Manager for U.S. Law Firm (Remote from the Philippines)
Setup: Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in the Philippines)
Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM (PH Time)

Candidates must have prior legal experience working with U.S. law firms and/or within domestic legal settings.

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Case Manager to manage legal cases under U.S. jurisdiction from the Philippines. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving the success of case management and enhancing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Drafting and Management: Draft, review, and manage sensitive legal documents and correspondences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth legal research and case-specific analyses, providing actionable insights to enhance case strategy and execution.
  • Client Communication: Facilitate and maintain effective, empathetic, and clear communication channels with clients and other stakeholders to manage expectations and keep all parties informed.
  • Case Coordination: Coordinate case activities, including scheduling, filings, and compliance checks, to ensure seamless progress and adherence to timelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify potential case issues and collaborate with legal teams to devise effective solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience in legal environments, particularly within U.S. law firms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal databases, and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
  • A collaborative team member with a deep understanding of U.S. legal systems.
