Job description

Join our team as a Project Accountant Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our esteemed environmental engineering firm, which specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. With a strong presence of over 1,800 dedicated professionals across more than 70 locations, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that positively impact our communities.

In this role, you will have the flexibility to work remotely or within a hybrid setup, becoming an integral part of a collaborative team that prioritizes excellence and mutual support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in project setup and closure processes.
  • Review accounts receivable and aid in collections.
  • Enter and post subcontractor invoices efficiently.
  • Conduct research related to subcontractor payments.
  • Coordinate vendor invoices with the accounts payable team.
  • Monitor the receipt of contracts and amendments.
  • Collaborate with Project Accountants to prepare Deltek invoices.
  • Maintain organized records of finalized invoices for audit purposes.
  • Provide general support to the Project Accounting team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is beneficial; however, training will be offered to the right candidate.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
