Our mission is to promote a comprehensive continuum of care while advocating for health equity and social justice. As a CARF-accredited organization, we deliver holistic interventions aimed at high-risk and underserved populations, with a particular focus on addressing healthcare inequities for women and communities of color.

Position Summary

As an In-Home Therapist & Clinician for the SAFE Project, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care to children, adolescents, and families in the Greater Boston area. This role is centered around delivering home- and community-based therapy to individuals facing co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges, ensuring personalized support for every client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits utilizing a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to foster relationship-building and support for families.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including Motivational Interviewing, A-CRA, and ACC, to offer effective behavioral health counseling and case management.
  • Complete comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that encompass substance use, mental health, trauma, and recovery objectives.
  • Assist families in identifying and accessing community resources, treatment options, and natural support systems.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including Therapeutic Training and Support Specialists, to evaluate family strengths and needs.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and other care providers involved in the support of youth and families.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including obtaining certifications in evidence-based models within six months of training.
  • Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and service providers to enhance program referrals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical electronic health records, billing records, and reporting documentation.
  • Achieve a productivity standard of 26 billable hours per week and participate in regular supervision for both clinical and administrative support.
  • Attend team meetings and foster ongoing communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Clinical expertise in addiction disorders, co-occurring mental health issues, and trauma is required.
  • Familiarity with community resources in the Greater Boston area.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse cultural groups.
  • Experience in home-based services, community outreach, and case management.
  • Strong administrative skills and detail-oriented approach.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Obtain Business Class Rider insurance for client transportation (reimbursable; required within one month of employment).
