Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Outbound Call Center Representative to join our esteemed Member Engagement team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will engage with members of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid health plans, facilitating their access to complimentary in-home or virtual healthcare evaluations. This position presents a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in people’s lives while advancing your own personal and professional aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct an average of 50 outbound calls per hour utilizing an automatic dialer to effectively connect with members and arrange healthcare evaluations.
  • Adhere to over 20 approved scripts, delivering information with clarity and assurance, while addressing any inquiries with professionalism.
  • Maintain an upbeat and enthusiastic demeanor in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Achieve daily productivity targets, including 300-400 outbound calls and the scheduling of 24 appointments each day, while meeting attendance and performance standards.
  • Manage appointment adjustments, reschedules, and cancellations, ensuring efficient communication with both members and providers.
  • Track personal performance metrics related to appointments and call handling through designated reporting systems.
  • Promptly escalate member complaints and issues to the Member Engagement Manager.
  • Engage in peer coaching sessions to foster continuous skills enhancement.
  • Comply with HIPAA and privacy regulations when handling sensitive health information.

  • Exceptional persuasive communication abilities, demonstrating a courteous approach towards every member.
  • Warm and approachable conversational style.
  • Capability to adhere to a structured daily schedule, inclusive of breaks and lunchtime.
  • Strong computer proficiency, adept at navigating multiple systems during calls.
  • Fluent proficiency in English.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a call center environment or 2 years of general work experience is required. Prior experience in an outbound call center within a metrics-driven framework is highly regarded.
