Job Overview

As a Program Manager for our Climate Technology and Manufacturing program, Scale For ClimateTech, you will play a pivotal role in furthering New York’s emergence as a center for climate solutions. Your work will focus on accelerating the commercialization of groundbreaking climate technologies while nurturing an extensive network of mentors, experts, and investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with NYSERDA, NextCorps, and our Advisors to design and implement program iterations, including outreach and onboarding processes.
  • Assess each program cycle for successes and opportunities for enhancement, applying insights to inform future iterations.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders to promote the significance of climate solutions in innovation and economic development.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional program management abilities, adept at overseeing budgets, timelines, staffing, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration across teams.
  • Proven multitasking capability to manage competing priorities while ensuring quality delivery.
  • Expertise in event management, both virtual and in-person, including logistics and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient relationship builder with a history of successful collaboration with external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, emphasizing collaboration and team-oriented delivery.

Qualifications

  • At least six years of experience in project management and operations, preferably in startup environments and climate solutions.
  • Familiarity with New York State's climate and economic development goals is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in program management tools such as Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace is essential.

Compensation And Benefits

We offer an annual salary range of \(90,000-\)105,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Our commitment to pay equity is reflected in our no-negotiation policy, ensuring transparency and fairness in compensation.
