Job Overview

As the Director of Retail, you will be instrumental in steering our retail operations, ensuring our stores and teams uphold the utmost standards of performance and customer service. Your leadership will involve supervising daily operations, guiding the retail management team, and propelling the success of our retail division. We seek a candidate with a solid foundation in retail management, ideally with experience in the cannabis sector. Your key responsibilities will encompass the establishment of new locations, the formulation and enforcement of policies, and the stimulation of sales and revenue growth. This role requires a strategic and communicative leader with adept problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a positive and professional work atmosphere, ensuring clarity in expectations and standards, while promoting teamwork, professional growth, and respect.
  • Propel the goals and performance benchmarks of the Retail Operations Division, assuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication, training, and adherence to DCC guidelines and local regulations.
  • Provide strategic advice on retail location design and operations, while overseeing the implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Enhance staff onboarding and training initiatives, establishing benchmarks and timelines for retail operations.
  • Lead and motivate store leadership and teams, ensuring optimal performance and employee morale.
  • Manage financial reporting and strategic sales initiatives to achieve financial objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
