Technical Writer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to join their team on a contract basis, with the potential for extension based on business needs. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. The successful candidate will be working 30-40 hours per week, supporting our client's People (HR) Team in updating and relocating their knowledge management documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with document owners to review and update existing content
• Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly content tailored to diverse audiences
• Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards and guidelines, including tone, format, and internal terminology
• Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Convert and upload documents into the appropriate file repository/internal system such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, Workvivo, etc.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with corporate process writing experience
• Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with ServiceNow and its knowledge module
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and other web technologies
