As a Cyber Customer Success Manager at Dataminr, you will be one of the most important members of a rapidly growing team that covers the Asia Pacific region, serving as a trusted advisor to Account Executives, Sales Specialists, as well as our current and future customers. A security-focused technical liaison and subject matter expert on all things Dataminr, you will get to develop and share compelling stories that will excite your customers and have them eager to hear more. This role can be fully remote for Australian candidates based in the South East Queensland, Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide areas.

The opportunity
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to assess their cybersecurity needs and design solutions that integrate our software with various SIEM, SOAR, or TIP platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Google SecOps, Cortex XSOAR, Swimlane, Anomali, ThreatConnect, ThreatQ).

  • Technical Demonstrations: Conduct in-depth product demonstrations showcasing how our solutions leverage public data to enhance detection, response, and mitigation efforts.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they recognize the value of our solutions and integration capabilities.

  • Training & Enablement: Provide training sessions for sales staff and clients, focusing on integration best practices, operational workflows, and maximizing the use of SIEM platforms

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to relay customer feedback, identify feature gaps, and contribute to the development of new functionalities that enhance integration and user experience.

  • Participating in selling the value of Dataminr through recorded presentations, live online, and in-person product demonstrations, as well as attending trade shows/conferences and sales meetings.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience, either as a Solutions/Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Software Sales Architect or client side industry experience  with large Public Sector and/or Commercial Enterprise clients/organizations.

  • History of assessing and developing pre-sales requirements and post-sales engagement strategies, including managing expectations, deliverables, and complex systems as well as the teams that support them.

  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.

  • Experience in data integration implementation and the ability to architect integrated solutions with third-party products.

  • Experience in Cyber Security and SaaS platforms. Familiarity with endpoint or network security space – eg. EDR, AV, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc. Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH,OSCP, and SANS would be a plus.
