At Verizon, we power and empower how people live, work and play by connecting them to what brings them joy. We do what we love — driving innovation, creativity, and impact in the world. Our V Team is a community of people who anticipate, lead, and believe that listening is where learning begins. In crisis and in celebration, we come together — lifting our communities and building trust in how we show up, everywhere & always. Want in? Join the V Team Life.

What you’ll be doing...
The Digital Promotions Impact Manager role focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns within Verizon Business Group. This individual will be responsible for modeling the anticipated outcomes of digital promotions, estimating the number of gross adds each initiative is likely to generate, and analyzing both the baseline daily run rate and the projected increase following the promotion's activation. A critical aspect of this role involves calculating the Cost per Incremental Gross Add (CPIGA) to gauge the efficiency of each campaign. The analyst will also compare digital promotion performance against other channels, identifying potential areas where digital underperforms due to complexity. Recommendations for optimizing digital promotions by replacing underperforming campaigns with more effective ones before final approval are a key responsibility.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring reports and dashboards daily to identify opportunities to optimize promo spend by reallocating funds from underperforming campaigns to performant ones, or by recommending completely new promotions.

  • Creating easy to understand visual representations of promotional performance and providing updates to various levels of management and promotional understanding/experience.

  • Becoming an SME in digital promotions including the ability to rapidly and accurately forecast new promotional concepts.

  • Assisting with national projects as needed including basic project management, writing user stories, monitoring GTM activities and testing.

  • Writing promotional briefs, intake content and basic copywriting for quarterly resets.

  • Managing legal approvals as needed for new capabilities and initial drafting of T&Cs for new promotions.

What we’re looking for...

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must as is a consistent record of high-impact success. You are a thinker and a doer, not one to wait for instruction. You fearlessly ask questions and challenge the status quo in a situationally appropriate manner.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Recent work experience in program &/or project management.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills with the aptitude to convey complex data concepts in business terms.

  • Experience with managing and launching promotions

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s Degree.

  • Project Management Certification.

  • Experience analyzing Adobe Analytics and Tableau dashboards.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing evolving roles and responsibilities.

  • Experience collaborating and partnering with stakeholder organizations.

  • Ability to exert leadership and influence in a matrix organization structure.

  • Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of how marketing metrics deliver against revenue and margin targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
