Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to shape the client’s ammunition acquisition and life-cycle by leading systems engineering efforts. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities
  • Experience conducting system level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
  • Experience with the analysis and coordination of program budgets, and development of integrated management schedules
  • Ability to execute risk management processes and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Ability to assemble and lead senior-level briefings, and manage stakeholder communications
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with requirements derivation, definition, validation, and verification
  • Experience capturing important interface information between and within the various systems
  • Experience with a SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw, Cameo, or IBM DOORS
  • Knowledge of U.S. military munitions or munitions research and testing
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
