Clinical Training Lead

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Training Lead to develop and implement a global Learning Management System (LMS) that provides accessible, high-quality training to our global workforce of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. The LMS will cover key areas such as obesity management, skincare, and quality improvement, and will be integral to driving clinical excellence at HeliosX.

The Training Lead will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create content and will be responsible for ensuring that all staff are trained to the highest standards. This role includes developing and delivering online testing and certification processes and setting clear KPIs to ensure the successful onboarding and ongoing professional development of all healthcare professionals across the UK, USA, and Germany.

This is primarily a remote/home based role, with occasional travel to our office in Central London.

What you'll do

• Design Clinical Training programme with focused curriculum areas: weight loss, erectile dysfunction, skincare, and quality management
• Develop and Implement  Training Programs: Create and execute training modules tailored to pharmacists focusing on clinical best practices, health tech product use, and regulatory compliance, liaising with condition specific leads to produce expert-led onboarding
• Standardise Clinical Training: Ensure consistency in the training content and methods across various departments, locations, or platforms, in line with industry standards (e.g.,CQC, GPhC, etc.)
• E-Learning and Digital Tools: Design and integrate e-learning platforms, simulations, and digital tools for remote or hybrid training delivery
• Continuous Learning: Lead initiatives for continuous professional development, including certification programs and updates on the latest medical practices, technologies, and regulations
• Monitor Training Effectiveness: Establish KPIs and evaluation metrics to measure the success of training programs and onboarding processes (e.g., knowledge retention, skill application, performance improvement)
• Feedback and Improvement: Regularly analyse training outcomes and employee feedback to continuously improve content, methods, and materials
• Assess Staff Competency: Conduct post-training evaluations to assess competency and ensure that all staff members meet or exceed clinical standards of care.

What you'll bring to HeliosX

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical, healthcare, or clinical field (e.g., Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health) desirable
• Advanced degree or certification in clinical education, teaching, or learning & development preferred
• Extensive experience in clinical training, medical education, or healthcare onboarding, preferably in a health tech, healthcare provider, clinical setting or tertiary education provider
• Strong experience in creating and delivering training programs, both in-person and digitally
• Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams, including product, compliance, and HR departments
• Certification in clinical education or training (e.g., Certified Health Education Specialist, Clinical Trainer Certification) is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification or other relevant healthcare certifications.
