As a Development Supply Manager (d/f/m), you will be responsible for setting up, executing, and overseeing the implementation of optimal supply chain operations for global biosimilars technical and/or clinical development to ensure efficient, consistent, and compliant material and funds flow in the network. You will also be responsible for streamlining supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute to the overall success of the company's operations.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Establishing and ensuring efficient and compliant supply chain operations for global biosimilars technical and/or clinical development to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensuring movement of development materials for technical, regulatory, and/or clinical purposes from/to both internal and external sites in scope of programs or projects.
  • Collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders, such as Customs & Foreign Trade, Finance, Tax, Supply Chain Management and Compliance, to ensure compliant material and funds flows.
  • Supporting vendor onboarding, master data and SAP ERP setup, confidentiality agreements, purchase order placement, license management, compliant material valuation, customs clearance, logistics, and invoice payment follow-up.
  • Coordinating bottleneck management to avoid or minimize missed development or clinical milestones.
  • Analyzing supply chain data, generating reports, and providing insights to assist in effective decision-making, cost optimization, and performance evaluation.
  • Identifying areas for process improvements, implementing changes, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
  • Supporting sourcing and procurement processes for development materials.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficient in the English language.
