Job Description:
The Europe Continental & UKI Procurement Operations team is seeking for a dynamic Purchasing officer.
The new colleague will be responsible for managing the E2E (end to end) purchasing process, ensuring timely sourcing of materials as well as monitoring orders and solving any type of post-delivery issues.
He/she will work closely with the demand management team to making sure the end customers do get the needed materials/services.
Key responsibilities:
Quoting – obtaining pricing quotes; quotes’ renewal; discounts’ validation; low value & less complex pricing negotiations;
Purchasing Orders creation – create & submit the purchasing requisition; follow-up & obtain the spend approval; validates SoW’s (Statement of Work) details & make sure key sections contain proper information; Purchasing Order management (amendments & closure) ;
Delivery – obtain materials Estimated Time of Arrival & coordinate deliverables; order receipt booking & Serial Numbers registration
Post-delivery support - sorting out invoicing issues; sorting out non-conform deliverables; Purchasing Order management (amendments & closure)
Non-order creation activities - Vendors’ setup & profile’ amendments; offer insights on PO execution – maintaining account PO trackers; training project managers on the E2E process; PO renewal planning with the demand management team & Finance; Obtain projects spend & volume forecasts; data mining & analysis – what we buy / from who as well understanding contracts’ particularities;
Audit & Compliance – make sure all above activities are in line with the company policies, procedures and standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
0-1y experience as a Purchasing and Logistics Officer or in a similar role
0-1y experience in logistics and supply chain management
1+ experience in a multi-cultural corporate environment is a plus
Knowledge of procurement processes; Knowledge of Ariba and SAP is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
