Klüber is seeking a driven, passionate, and technical Sales Engineer to sell specialty lubricants to OEMs and Manufacturing Environments. You will support the company by driving our sales efforts with your technical expertise.

Sales Engineer (Canada)

Responsibilities

  • Visiting and managing existing key accounts throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
  • Developing new customer targets in the territory to achieve annual growth goals.
  • Traveling throughout the region, with about 5-10 days of overnight travel per month.
  • Working with Market Managers to develop strategies towards key industries that include cement manufacturing, mining, wood production and food processing.

Qualifications

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a customer facing role – direct technical sales or application engineering.
  • You have a knack for solving technical problems and providing solutions.
  • You have experience in lubricants, chemicals, mechanical equipment sales, or key account development- a plus!
  • Industry knowledge with mining, wood, paper, and cement is a plus
  • You have strong time management skills, and are a self starter, who excels at planning efficient sales travel in your region to visit customer sites on a regular basis.
  • You are good at customer follow up items (call reports, opportunity generation, sample requests, quotes, etc.) from your home based office.
  • You can understand technical concepts and negotiate effectively.
  • You are the type of person who likes to sell to a variety of markets, is open-minded towards unique solutions, and isn’t afraid to walk in a new door or develop brand new relationships.
