Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Product Advocate to champion our product, Datavail TechBoost, and educate stakeholders and clients about its' value. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the major product leads and key stake holders in defining, shaping, and communicating the value proposition of Datavail's IP. This role will focus on communicating/presenting product benefits, preparing educational materials, and ensuring all parties understand the product's features and ROI. Key Responsibilities:

ROI Analysis: Assist in determining and communicating the return on investment (ROI) for clients and stakeholders
Product Advocacy: Act as the voice and face of the product, promoting its features, benefits, and overall value to internal and external stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement: Meet with various business leaders, groups, and potential clients to advocate for the product and gather feedback
Educational Material Preparation: Create and prepare product-related materials before launches to educate both internal teams and customers
Product Feature Education: Conduct sessions and meetings to educate stakeholders and clients on the product's features and benefits
Technical Documentation: Draft, review, and maintain some technical documentation to support product use and distribution
Writing and Communication: Exhibit excellent writing skills to craft compelling product narratives, presentations, and educational content
Sales Approach: Adopt a seller’s attitude to proactively promote the product and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Give technical demonstrations internally and to prospects/customers

Experience

3-5 Years experience in IT product advocacy for an infrastructure or database product
Proven track record in advocating for a software product within and outside of an organization
Prior experience preparing technical documentation and educational materials
Experienced in Agile SCRUM based product development cycles
Ability to translate features into business benefits for technical, sales, and business audiences
Experienced in prioritizing features based on business metrics including ROI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to engage and influence decision-makers

Experience with technical documentation and product education materials

A self-starter with a sales-driven mindset

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to support occasional travel (

Accomplished presenter and can give technical demonstrated with ease

Key Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present product information and create compelling content
Ability to engage with senior leadership and business leaders confidently
Proficient in preparing educational materials and presentations, with experience in tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or similar
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Understanding of product features and the ability to simplify complex technical details for different audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
A customer-first attitude, ensuring product solutions meet user needs

Preferred:

Experience with database automation software solutions
