In this pivotal role, you will spearhead a program while managing a dedicated team of engineers tasked with the delivery of advanced Torpedo Guidance and Control systems for the United States Navy. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers in the successful development and delivery of advanced systems for the Department of Defense.
  • Oversee and ensure program technical performance in alignment with cost, scope, and schedule, guaranteeing the integration, testing, and verification of project requirements.
  • Manage the resolution of technical issues, effectively communicating solutions and ensuring implementation.
  • Develop and maintain engineering plans, identified risks, and opportunities while adhering to established program standards and practices.
  • Conduct monthly engineering status reviews, providing critical insights and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Foster a motivating environment for the engineering team by clarifying project objectives and offering constructive performance feedback.

  • Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
