Job description

Your mission
  • As our go-to Business Development Manager for France, you’re the driving force behind our growth in the French market. You get to know this market inside out, ensuring we stay ahead and thrive.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy Markets, you’re part of the Strategy Markets team, working closely with key players across Category Management, Marketing, and Pricing.
  • You’ll dive deep into our offerings—assortment, pricing, positioning—and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • With data as your compass, you design and implement growth strategies across the value chain, tracking success with clear KPIs.
  • You’ll monitor our product assortment’s performance, zooming in to understand what’s selling and where we can improve.
  • Benchmarking is your friend: you’ll analyze how our country-specific performances stack up, drawing insights to keep us competitive.
  • In collaboration with Category Management, you’ll lead initiatives to close assortment gaps, ensuring we have the best lineup in the market.
  • By tracking keyword search volumes, you’ll help the Marketing team stay on top of traffic trends and optimize campaigns.
  • You’re a market-savvy trendsetter, bringing insights for campaigns by observing competitors and sparking fresh ideas.
  • Partnering with the Pricing team, you’ll keep our price positioning sharp and on point.
  • You’ll align our market strategies with the big picture in regular check-ins with the Head of Strategy Markets.
  • Flex your analytical skills with ad-hoc data analyses, teaming up with Business Intelligence for insights that drive decisions.
  • Run weekly ops meetings and monthly reviews with the Head of Strategy Markets and Managing Directors, sharing updates and keeping everyone aligned.
  • Represent France in our monthly International meeting, showcasing the work you’re doing to drive results.
Your profile
  • You’ve got a BA in Business Administration or Economics and a solid grip on French and English (German is a bonus).
  • You thrive in cross-functional, international settings, especially in digital business environments.
  • Data isn’t just numbers to you—it’s insight. You’re comfortable with BI tools (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau), Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You’re skilled in performance marketing, SEA, and SEO, bringing that expertise into our e-commerce, strategy, business development, and data analysis efforts.
  • Plus, you’ve got knowledge in category management, product management, and digital commerce, with a bonus if you know the automotive industry.
