About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement and asset Management Specialist who will ensure accurate tracking and management of assets, preventing losses, inefficiencies, and compliance issues. You will oversee and coordinate the procurement process to eliminate delays, capitalize on cost-saving opportunities, and establish consistent purchasing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Supervise and monitor the inventory of company and client assets, by coordinating with the Inventory Associate on implementing robust tracking processes, proactively addressing asset lifecycle management, and recommending upgrades or replacements as needed to optimize resource utilization.
  • Consistently streamline procurement processes, negotiate favorable contracts, identify opportunities for cost savings, stay updated on industry trends, and be aware of supplier offerings to ensure Filta benefits from competitive pricing and advantageous terms.
  • Uphold operational excellence by ensuring reliable equipment deployment, retrieval, and management through implementing standardized processes, monitoring data security during equipment handling, and contributing to a smooth equipment lifecycle.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers continuously. This includes monitoring supplier performance, addressing issues promptly, and collaborating with suppliers to identify mutually beneficial opportunities, cost efficiencies, and value-added services.

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

Experience & Software

  • 3+ years of experience in a related or similar position. 
  • Experience with quotation and inventory apps. 
  • Experience in Google Sheets and Google Suite. 
  • Proficiency in using software and tools for tracking, managing, and reporting on purchasing and assets.
  • Skills in negotiating contracts, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and cost-saving assessments for procurement decisions.
  • Strong documentation skills for maintaining records, contracts, and documentation related to asset management and procurement activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize procurement processes and supplier performance.
  • Highly proficient technical ability with Google Suite.
