Job description

About the Role: We are looking for a talented Sales Associate / Sales Team Leader (f/m/d) to join our Peripheral and Aortic Business in Switzerland who will develop our position in the marketplace into a market leader. Working in the field leading out team of Associates while developing the business in their own territory.

This is a remote position, and you can work from your home office in most locations within Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for leading a high performing sales team in charge of Gore’s high quality, innovative Peripheral Interventional, Peripheral Vascular and Aortic medical device products portfolio, together with running a specific sales territory him/herself
  • Develop followership from the team and lead by example, ensuring our sales team has all the tools (physical tools, training, knowledge, and support) necessary to sell in a competitive environment and conduct coaching to support our sales team
  • Together with the sales team, develop our position in the marketplace into market leader across our full portfolio of focus products
  • Develop sales and ensuring market penetration with the existing business, as well as actively pursuing new customers and developing new opportunities
  • Maintain and build strong relationships across our customer base. You will also gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert
  • Provide clinical product education and training, and regular involvement in case planning and case support in operating room
  • Analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to the business unit guidelines
  • Collate and feedback timely market insights to our sales leadership and marketing leadership teams
  • Manage sales overhead for the team and drive profitable revenue growth in region
  • Attendance of international and regional congresses and implementation of local sales promotion activities


Required Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Swiss Implantable Medical Device marketplace with a strong passion for team leadership and developing business
  • Passionate about medical device sales
  • Ability to travel Swiss-wide to support all Team Members and internationally as required
  • Strong commercial skills including the ability to negotiate and influence
  • Excellent relationship builder
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Proven ability to prioritize and drive the business to success
  • Natural team-playing qualities
  • Ability to undertake travel in Switzerland and internationally to sales meetings, conferences, and trainings (up to 75%)
  • Home office in Switzerland
