Overview

As a Remote Russian Consecutive Interpreter, you will serve as an essential facilitator of communication between parties who speak different languages. Your role involves listening attentively to a speaker in one language and conveying their message accurately into another language, ensuring comprehension in a variety of over-the-phone contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and more.
• Carefully listen to the speaker in the source language and faithfully convey their message in the target language.
• Maintain exemplary levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process.
• Adhere to industry best practices and comply with pertinent protocols and regulations, including those related to HIPAA.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages).
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent listening and comprehension capabilities.
• Cultural sensitivity and professionalism in communication.
• Technical skill set and familiarity with the tools necessary for remote interpreting.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year or 2000 hours of active interpretation experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score.
• An updated resume highlighting relevant interpretation experience.
• A clear criminal background check (in English).
• Adequate technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments, including a headset, stable internet connection, and a laptop.
