Job Overview

We are in search of an experienced Consulting Product Analyst to join our dynamic team remotely. This pivotal role requires a robust background in requirements gathering and analysis, as you will collaborate intimately with the Payment Compliance Solutions team to assess and interpret business systems and user needs pertaining to our range of applications/products. Your analytical expertise will be instrumental in driving enhancements in systems and business processes through customized software solutions, whether built in-house or sourced externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a vital communication link between business units and IT teams to precisely define and document user requirements and system needs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Evaluate and propose modifications to systems and processes to optimize business strategies via software solutions.
  • Create comprehensive documentation that articulates business goals, user requirements, and the technical steps essential for development or modification of solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with software developers to guarantee that solutions meet both business and user expectations.
  • Team up with project managers and scrum masters to establish project timelines, identify risks, and oversee project progression.
  • Contribute to the formulation of quality assurance test plans and the development of end-user documentation for seamless implementation of solutions.
  • Act as a critical escalation point for troubleshooting system functionality issues and their resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams on new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements for various business systems and applications.
  • In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, with a track record of effectively conveying technical requirements to development teams.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight, showcasing creativity, initiative, and self-management.
  • Expertise in fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with business units, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in resolving conflicting requirements and achieving consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in crafting process designs and leading the development, testing, and training phases of projects.
  • Solid background in supporting project teams through product development, enhancements, and troubleshooting efforts.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a similar function.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
