Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our Financial Reporting team in a fully remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the preparation of financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will encompass the collection and analysis of financial data, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards, while supporting our dedication to delivering excellence in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Contribute to the preparation of internal monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Assemble necessary schedules and documentation for monthly financial reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Stay informed about evolving accounting principles, offering interpretations of US GAAP and drafting technical memorandums.
  • Collaborate with financial reporting management to uphold various monthly reports and evaluate changes in our reporting framework.
  • Maintain established internal controls and conduct thorough monthly financial analyses.
  • Drive process enhancements within the financial reporting function.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional related duties as required.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA accreditation.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in public accounting or the accounting domain.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Previous experience in healthcare accounting is desirable but not mandatory.
