Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Instructor to join our innovative online learning community. In this fully remote position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the specialized instruction necessary to thrive in a virtual classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
  • Provide engaging and customized instruction to students with a variety of exceptionalities in an online setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, general educators, and support teams to promote student success.
  • Utilize virtual tools and assessments to monitor and track student progress while adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing virtual learning platforms and assistive technologies.
  • Strong digital communication capabilities paired with excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
  • A valid Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsements in Special Education.
