Position Title: Event Coordinator (Ticket & Event Administrator) - Remote

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Note: Start date is tentative and will be confirmed prior to commencement.

Expected Duration: 5+ Months with the possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract (40 hours weekly) / Remote

Compensation: \(25/hr - \)28/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Coordinator (Ticket & Event Administrator) to become a vital part of our remote team. This role offers a unique chance to significantly impact our event management and ticketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to comprehend priorities and manage the event pipeline.
  • Ensure electronic ticket accessibility and user-friendliness across all vendors.
  • Oversee end-to-end day-to-day operations related to event management.
  • Communicate and present pricing information and recommendations to management.
  • Handle inquiries through the general ticket email box, including responses during evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Administer the Ticket Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate monitoring and manual entry of events.
  • Process PPMD requests and manage ticket distribution effectively.
  • Maintain fruitful relationships with external venues and vendors while exploring new ticket opportunities.
  • Gather and summarize feedback, troubleshooting issues, and communicating updates with the team.
  • Participate in regular team calls to foster collaboration and unity among ticket administrators.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Orientation towards customer service and relationship building.
  • Flexibility to work during nights and weekends as required.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to varying circumstances.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in event coordination or related roles.
