We're looking for Associate QA Engineer to join our team! 

 

We are looking for engineers who bring innovative ideas from all areas, including integrations, deployment, Software-as-a-Service, security, UI design and mobile. As an Associate QA engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to our needs and our market expansion, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile leaders who are ready to enthusiastically take on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push healthcare technology forward. Our QA engineers are highly hands-on and have many opportunities to gain extensive knowledge of Phreesia’s users, customers, and architecture. Your solutions will impact the health of millions of people. You will get to work with architects, Developers, and deployment engineers to build, test and deploy our products to production.  

 

What you will do 

 

  • Collaborate and communicate with a diverse, highly distributed team of experienced engineers across the continents. 

  • Apply best practices and critical thinking to challenges and processes, taking the initiative to self-learn and resolve issues, but asking for support when needed. 

  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to learn and improve yourself, as well as the world around you.  

  • You will be contributing to the Smoke & Regression testing manually as part of the release testing on various environments. 

  • You will be contributing to test case automation using Java Script as a coding language and Playwright tool.  

  • You should be contributing to API testing using one of the API testing tools. 

  • You should be able to debug the failed test cases/scripts and improve the test script. 

  • You should have basic knowledge of Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum, and awareness of working style in Agile teams. 

  • Dedication to ensuring the software meets high-quality standards before release. 

  • . • Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required 

  • 1+ years of experience in software testing  

  • Healthcare industry experience is a huge plus  

  • Ability to look at a system and understand what can go wrong with it and can define hypotheses that could explain the problem.  

  • Ability to define tests that cover system behaviors 

  • Ability to understand how customers use our products and the right way to simulate that usage. 

  • Proven experience with UI and APIs testing  

  • Ability to maintain and run existing functional (UI / API) auto tests and analyze run results
