Our client is a leading insurance provider committed to delivering exceptional coverage and service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic claims team. If you have a proven track record in handling commercial trucking claims, possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

  • Conduct thorough investigations of commercial auto/trucking claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Gather relevant information, interview involved parties, and inspect damaged properties or sites.
  • Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage applicability and limitations.
  • Provide clear and accurate coverage decisions to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed claim files, documenting all relevant activities and decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and legal, to ensure coordinated efforts in claims handling.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in claims handling processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Commercial Auto/Trucking or in a similar claims handling role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial trucking insurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with claims management software.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AIC, CPCU) are a plus.
