Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Associate Actuary to oversee asset projection processes and deliver essential insights through comprehensive scenario analysis. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our Asset Projection team to manage asset projection models and analyze the resulting data. Your expertise in generating precise projections and conveying insights will be instrumental in guiding strategic business decisions and enhancing financial performance. You will engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project management and alignment with our long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present reports that effectively communicate findings, insights, and projections to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Prepare and organize data for asset projection models, monitor the execution of projection tasks, and manage resultant outputs.
  • Adhere to compliance standards regarding asset projection activities and documentation practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize technology to extract valuable data insights, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Provide informal leadership and mentorship within the Actuarial and Asset-Liability Management (ALM) teams.
  • Review and enhance documentation processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and refine reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in investments or Asset-Liability Management (ALM).
  • ASA designation is required, with progression toward FSA and MAAA preferred.
  • Familiarity with life insurance is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, asset classes, portfolio management, and market trends.
  • Prior experience with financial projection models is preferred.
