The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our company’s accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate needs to have both technical and interpersonal skills in order to manage communication with various stakeholders cross-departmentally. You will be reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
• Oversee customer invoicing process, collection of receivables and management of revenue recognition process for multiple product lines
• Manage the global accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate processing and payments
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including preparing monthly close ledger entries and reconciliations
• Propose efficiency improvements in accounting processes, accounting systems and internal controls over financial reporting
• Contribute in discussions with auditors, tax preparers, and external accountants
• Review and address accounting-related inquiries/issues from external and internal stakeholders
• Manage a team of consultants overseeing international accounting operations in Armenia
• Regular and ad hoc analyses as requested by Management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounting for 5+ years
• Knowledge of Quickbooks or equivalent accounting software
• High-level of proficiency in Excel
• Experience and highly knowledgeable of US GAAP
• Experience in the application of ASC 606 in revenue recognition
• Familiarity with online payment systems and banking
