(Senior) Backend Engineer - Ruby on Rails (all genders)

• You will develop new functionality and continuously improve the Caspar Health applications

• You will collaborate closely with colleagues from Product Management, UX, QA, Analytics, DevOps, and Architecture disciplines to improve teamwork and exchange of knowledge

• You will use your field of expertise to improve development processes

• You will contribute to best practices in code quality, test automation, APIs, CI/CD, and Software architecture

• You bring at least three years of experience working with backend technologies

• You are an expert using Ruby on Rails in production

• You have broad experience with single page application frameworks, preferably React.js, having React Native and some Angular experience is a plus.

• You know SQL very well

• You are focussed on scalability, testability, and maintainability of the deliverables

• You bring a hands-on mentality, and enjoy trying and learning new things

• You are a team-player

• You are a good communicator

• You have solid English skills

 In a perfect world, you additionally have experience with:

• TypeScript, React Native

• Container technologies (Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes)

• AWS or some other cloud provider

• PostgreSQL

• NoSQL databases
