Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the procurement, inventory, and logistics functions for our business. This role will focus on managing supplier relationships, overseeing product orders, monitoring stock levels, and generating reports for business insights. The successful candidate will also support the team in day-to-day decision-making and identify new opportunities for growth and efficiency in the supply chain process.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Product Procurement & Supplier Negotiation: Manage the procurement of new products, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • Creating New Sales Opportunities: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and leverage supply chain data to generate new sales opportunities and ensure product availability aligns with market demand.
  • Order (PO) Management: Oversee the full purchase order (PO) lifecycle, ensuring accuracy in order placement and timely follow-up with freight forwarders to track shipments. Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely and accurate stock deliveries.
  • Stock Control & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecasting future inventory needs based on sales trends and demand projections. Ensure timely reordering of products to avoid stockouts and excess inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels across all locations.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Produce regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and projections using Shopify and Xero data. Analyze sales and inventory trends to inform business decisions and adjust procurement strategies.
  • Support for Daily Decision-Making: Provide operational support to team members, guiding day-to-day supply chain decisions to ensure efficient processes and quick issue resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and broader business goals.
  • Growth Strategy & Business Opportunity Identification: Contribute to the development of growth strategies by identifying new business opportunities and areas for supply chain optimization.

What You Need:

  • Excellent Sales background
  • Business Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel (especially), PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in English communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounting statements
  • Knowledge in producing reports with Shopify/Xero data
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
