Job description

As a Project Manager, you will support Programme Managers in achieving departmental objectives aligned with our corporate strategy and vision. You will be responsible for delivering multiple projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Indigo Telecom Group’s Project Management Methodology.


  • Project Delivery: Ensure successful delivery of projects, meeting cost, quality, and time requirements. Act as the single point of contact for assigned projects, resolving issues efficiently and escalating when necessary.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer relationships, ensuring timely input and sign-off on deliverables. Promote innovation and collaboration to exceed customer expectations.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute Project Management Plans, including resource forecasts and contingency plans. Continuously monitor and improve project progress.
  • Reporting and Reviews: Report on KPIs and milestones, contribute to project reviews, and compile monthly Service Agent Metrics. Host internal and external project reviews.
  • Documentation: Provide and audit project documentation, ensuring compliance with standards. Perform QA audits of client As-Built documentation.
  • Resource Management: Ensure resource compliance and optimal utilization. Assign tasks, review performance, and conduct regular project meetings.
  • Cost and Finance: Maintain and expand project revenues, manage costs, and ensure effective billing. Track operational P&L and ensure all costs have PO cover.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage technical risks, propose corrective actions, and respond to scope changes.
  • Procurement: Define project needs, approve purchase orders, and lead contract administration within the project scope.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) policies.


About You:

  • Engineering background with experience in delivering full lifecycle projects within the Telecoms sector.
  • Proficiency in SDH/WDM technology, optical knowledge for patching activity, CAT5/6 cabling, and various connector types.
  • Familiarity with Ciena 6500/RLS, Nokia PSS range, Infinera, Juniper, and backbone topology (ILA, POP, Landing Stations).
  • Competence in OTDR and Ethernet testing, and experience in a datacentre environment.
  • Proven experience in project management within the telecom or networks industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
