International Employee Benefits Consultant - Remote - ARD1044341

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs largest independent Insurance Brokers as an International Employee Benefits Consultant. This role has come about because of growth and expansion to the team, and we are looking for someone who can successfully manage a portfolio of an international client’s and deliver a personal new business and retention target.

What you will do as an International Employee Benefits Consultant:

You will be involved in overseeing and supporting the management of global client relationships. Providing comprehensive advice to client global programmes. Working alongside key internal and external relationships and stakeholders, which includes talking to customers and providers all over the world.

  • Collate annual business plan based on agreed sales targets and objectives
  • Achieve agreed annual sales target and revenue
  • Manage and oversee client MI for mid to large corporate clients
  • Find networking opportunities that will allow us to gain access to a wider audience including Towergate Insurance Brokers, Introducers, WBN broker partners
  • Work alongside all Towergate Health & Protection sales team (non-licensed) on any international opportunities
  • Build relationships with UK sales advisors via referral process to look at organic growth from their existing books
  • Assist in growth of international consumer book by promoting group scheme leaver service or switching back to UK PMI
  • All year-round support and service any new clients introduced to Towergate Health & Protection
  • Having a clear understanding of the international markets and rules and regulations that Towergate Health & Protection must comply with
  • Work alongside support functions to ensure all client queries, claims / invoice issues, chasing membership packs, certificates or up-to-date membership lists are dealt with to ensure a high-level service is being offered to our clients
  • Follow and implement all international business using the International Sales Process
  • Attend insurer training on a regular basis to ensure market knowledge levels are kept up to date
  • Attend any seminars, networking, or HR events to keep abreast of what is happening in the international markets (Occasional overseas travel maybe required)
  • Fulfil any CPD or training needs as necessary to improve results and ensure correct information is supplied to clients

What we are looking for in an International Employee Benefit Consultant:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience within Financial Services / General Insurance market is essential
  • A proven ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of clients to deliver New Business and Renewal Targets
  • Broad understanding of the healthcare market (UK & International)
  • Ideally possess some knowledge of other insurance products
  • Experience in relationship building with Insurers/Providers, Clients and Sales Consultants
  • Experience of working in a changing market
  • Minimum of Cert CII or willingness to study towards qualification
