Job description

The Account Management team at Factbird leverages our deep technical, product, and industry knowledge to help our customers boost their operations with streamlined manufacturing intelligence.

We act as partners, advisors, and advocates for our customers to reduce downtime, while sustaining high speed quality production with real time data. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth, expanding customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Who We’re Looking For

Factbird is in search of an experienced, customer-facing professional to manage and enhance our relationships with a portfolio of key strategic customers in United Kingdom and Ireland. Many of these customers are long-term partners who already generate significant revenue for Factbird. The account manager will be tasked with creating new relationships, as well as further strengthening these relationships and facilitating the next phase of growth with these valued clients.

As the primary contact for your customers, you will guide them through every stage of integration, scaling, product expansion, and partnership management. You will work directly with key stakeholders, from operators, to process engineers to senior management, helping them develop applications that empower businesses and consumers with their production data.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
    • Identify and qualify potential customers through research and outreach.
    • Develop a robust pipeline in targeted industries.
    • Collaborate with marketing on creative lead generation efforts.
    • Utilize CRM tools to track activities and manage sequences.
  • Solution Demonstrations and Sales Presentations
    • Conduct needs analysis to position relevant solutions.
    • Lead tailored product demonstrations and sales presentations.
    • Manage negotiations and close deals using the MEDDICC framework.
  • Closing Deals and Contract Management
    • Drive the sales process from contact to contract.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align contracts with policies.
    • Maintain accurate records and meet sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management and Retention
    • Serve as the primary contact for accounts, ensuring satisfaction and value.
    • Build long-term relationships and monitor customer health metrics.
    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Portfolio Growth and Account Expansion
    • Understand client's business and identify additional service opportunities.
    • Foster trust to drive renewals and long-term contracts.
    • Implement strategies for account growth through upselling and advocacy.
  • Collaboration and Reporting
    • Align with marketing, product, and support teams to enhance customer experience.
    • Report on sales activities and maintain a competitive edge
What makes you a great fit?

  • Proven track record in full-cycle sales, including prospecting, demoing, closing, and account management.
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed with a focus on winning and helping your customers achieve their goals.
  • Ability to apply consultative and team-selling sales strategies in a competitive market.
  • Highly organized and able to manage several responsibilities at once.
  • Experience with tracking all sales activity and reports in customer relationship management software (HubSpot experience preferred but not required).
  • Experience with sales methodologies (SPIN/MEDDIC preferred but not required).
  • As the primary point of contact, the ability to wear several hats: sales, support, customer success, as well as the point person for mobilizing your teammates for support.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the prospect of building your own territory business and hitting your quarterly and annual goals.
