Paraplanner – Aviva Financial Advice

Remote or hybrid working considered for the right candidate

Salary of up to £47,500 (DOE)

We have over 800 employees and 200 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices.


As a result of Aviva Financial Advice’s continued growth and alignment with Succession Wealth, we now have a new opportunity for a Paraplanner.


The role…


Our Paraplanners are highly valued within Succession and are integral to our business, providing vital support to our Financial Planners and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.

Our Paraplanners play a key role within our advisory service by reviewing, analysing and preparing compliant recommendations for our clients, enabling our Wealth Planners to provide an outstanding level of service to clients.


As such, we expect our paraplanners to be able to research and prepare excellent suitability reports that are in accordance with our investment philosophy and client values.


On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be:


  • Liaising with policy providers for policy details, obtaining policy illustrations, processing new business applications, tracking to completion as well as liaising directly with clients.
  • Ensuring that our client information database is accurate at all times.
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicating in a confident and friendly manner.
  • Having a client-focused approach and ensuring our clients are at the centre of everything we do.


To be successful in the role you will need:


  • A minimum of 2 years Paraplanning experience.
  • To be qualified to Level 4 or above.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of pensions, investments and estate planning.
  • Be articulate in both verbal and written communication.
