Navigating the position: Senior.Net Developer
The successful candidate will be instrumental in building our world-leading crew management solution. You will closely collaborate with other developers within the team, mentor the less experienced ones and actively collaborate on creating a future shape of our product.
You need to be focused on the quality of the development process, be able to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. You will have to be cooperative, open-minded, and proactive.

🚢 Your Voyage Ahead:
Develop and Maintain Software Applications:
· Design, code, test, debug, and document software applications using .NET framework, cloud and related technologies.
· Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
· Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.
Collaboration and Support:
· Work with project leaders, product owners, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems.
· Offer support to end-users of the application, by troubleshooting and problem solving.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and best practices in .NET development.
· Continuously improve the codebase, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
· Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
Testing and Documentation:
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software solutions.
· Develop and implement unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.
· Assist in defining test scenarios and in testing the developed functionality.
🚢 Recommended to bring on board:
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years in commercial development.
- Expertise in .NET 6.0+ (C#) and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in Test Driven Development, unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Experience with Microservices, distributed architecture, event buses (RabbitMQ), and message queues.
- Strong understanding of client-server architecture, asynchronous programming, ORMs, REST API, and application logging.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSql (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), DDD and GraphQL.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, detail-oriented, and analytical skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Experience with, CI/CD processes, Identity Providers/SSO (Keycloak), Jenkins, Elastic Search, and performance measurement.
