Facilitate coordination and implementation of CDC's AI/ML strategy and enterprise AI/ML roadmap through performance of project management activities, data science support, development, and dissemination of informational and training related materials and artifacts for consumption by internal and external partners, and coordination and collaboration assistance with CDC programs, governance bodies, and STLT partners. Responsibilities:

• Work in a mid-size team of Sr. Data and AIML engineers.
• Collaborate with ML and Data Engineers to develop data-centric applications.
• Provide not only software development expertise but also hands-on technical skills.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of experience building with Azure Data Factory and PySparkk.
• Experience building data-centric applications with Databricks or Palantir.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
  
  

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in developing coding best practices and frameworks in Data Engineering and Machine Learning
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA
• Experience in front-end development with Python Flask or similar technology
• Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills
