Job Title: Construction Estimator (Civil)

Location: Remote

Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating concrete quantities for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction plans, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and estimators.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze structural and architectural construction plans and specifications to determine concrete quantity take-offs.
Prepare detailed and accurate take-off reports for concrete elements, including foundations, slabs, walls, and structures.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and estimators to ensure all project requirements are met.
Utilize software for take-offs and estimations, such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.
Maintain comprehensive records of take-off calculations and methodologies.
Assist in preparing bids and proposals based on take-off quantities.
Participate in meetings to discuss take-off details and clarify project requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in concrete take-offs or quantity surveying in the construction industry.
Proficiency in using Bluebeam software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
Australian experience is preferred but not required.
