Role Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join their research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial statement interpretation, and research methodologies. This role involves working closely with clients to deliver research reports and data-driven insights.

WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

Collect data from various sources, such as online research and publicly available documents.
Interpret and analyze financial statements (e.g., EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and current ratio)
Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to support custom client projects.
Produce clear, comprehensive, high-quality research reports (e.g., bank credit reports) based on client specifications.
Participate in client calls to kick off projects, explain the scope of research, and gather necessary information.
Maintain active engagement with the team to ensure accuracy and timely updates to reports based on internal and external feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
Prior experience in data collection or entry preferred.
Experience reading and interpreting financial statements.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in data and reports.
Good communication and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
