Job description

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant who will play a key role in establishing the brand voice and content across all marketing channels to increase name awareness and attract new clients. This role is essential in positioning the company as a modern thought leader with “Big Sister energy.” You will be responsible for managing content creation, posting to external job boards, monitoring social media channels, scheduling posts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, and performing organizational tasks such as file management and photo sourcing. Additionally, you’ll ensure that the brand’s messaging remains consistent and impactful. The role also includes working closely with the Marketing Director to execute marketing strategies, track performance metrics, and optimize engagement and reach.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Essential Functions

  • Perform the following tasks related to the job board and social media posting:
    • Post new job openings to all relevant job boards and schedule corresponding social media content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook within 1 business day of the job launch
    • Ensure content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and brand voice, including creating and scheduling at least 3 pieces of content weekly (e.g., reels, shared posts, static posts, and stories) for the company’s blog and social media platforms
    • Manage job board postings to ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates for the recruitment team
  • Perform the following tasks related to content creation and strategy:
    • Draft and prepare content that aligns with the company’s marketing strategy to boost brand awareness and engagement
    • Audit existing blog content for opportunities to update with new SEO keywords and ensure it reflects current strategies
    • Contact and cultivate relationships with PR and marketing departments at relevant brands, seeking sponsorship opportunities and exploring partnerships (e.g., blog backlinking)
    • Organize and continually audit Canva and Google Docs folders to maintain a streamlined asset organization system, ensuring easy retrieval and proper file tagging
  • Perform the following tasks related to email marketing:
    • Create and send weekly job alert emails and quarterly newsletters
    • Ensure open rates of over 35% and click-through rates of 4%
  • Perform the following tasks related to metrics reporting and analysis:
    • Use Metricool to compile and report weekly metrics across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
    • Analyze metrics, highlight anomalies, and provide optimization suggestions to the Marketing Director
    • Perform market research, track trends, and deliver weekly reports on competitor activity, social media trends, industry events, and relevant pop culture/newsworthy events
  • Perform the following tasks related to market research and trend reporting:
    • Provide a weekly report highlighting upcoming holidays, industry events, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and social media content planning
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva is a must-have
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Google Suite Software
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and dynamic and respectful communication skills
  • A knack for brand alignment, and a self-directed problem solver
  • Ability to create engaging content, including writing blog posts, social media captions, email newsletters, and website copy
  • Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and triage problems
  • Proficient in identifying and implementing solutions to overcome challenges, and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and resolve issues in real-time
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with the marketing director and other directors to work towards the company-wide goals
  • Ability to take full ownership and accountability for the role and the team’s processes, successes, challenges, and KPIs
