About Waterplan

We’re excited to hire a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Waterplan, a global SaaS B2B enterprise in the climate tech sector. We have been scaling our team quickly since raising our Series A funding round and are committed to building strong People Foundations ahead of the next chapter of our growth.

About the role

We care deeply about finding the best talent and feel ready to bring in some expertise to help us scale our recruiting efforts while supporting the continuous development of our Talent Acquisition Department.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a leading role in supporting various teams and departments across the organization

About your core focus

  • Align talent needs with Waterplan’s leadership team and hiring managers across multiple departments to craft a clear hiring roadmap.

  • Manage the hiring pipeline of the roles you’ll be focused on, from applications to scheduling and running screening interviews, filtering out the top candidates. You'll guide the candidate from initial contact to their first day at Waterplan.

  • Participate in offer calls, working closely with the team to create and finalize competitive proposals.

  • Build a talent pool for future roles by sourcing top performers from personal networks, LinkedIn, and other channels.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBPs to define the scope of new openings, outlining the candidate’s required qualifications.

  • Ensure all hiring managers succeed by maintaining constant communication and providing training on the internal recruiting process.

On top of your Talent Acquisition daily activities, we expect you to develop and iterate on the Talent Acquisition team processes, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to Waterplan’s growth. Therefore you will:

Stakeholders and Alliances. You will be the go-to person for Stakeholder Management and Alliance development in Waterplan’s Talent Acquisition team by:

  • Identify and engage with key talent communities and clusters to attract high-quality candidates proactively.

  • Establish key collaborations with educational institutions.

  • Form strategic alliances with key players from the Talent Acquisition community to share best practices, conduct benchmarks, and seek assistance when needed.

  • Manage recruiting portals like Bookface, Indeed, and LinkedIn, as well as participate in job fairs to build Waterplan’s talent network.

Processes and Analytics. You will be the go-to person for Analytics and Processes in Waterplan’s Talent Acquisition team. You will be leading some key activities that will help the Talent Acquisition team perform at their best:

  • Manage and maximize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Generate insightful reports to track analytics related to the hiring process.

  • Continuously improve our recruitment processes.

  • Explore new technologies like AI to enhance efficiency in our recruitment processes.

  • Conduct Candidate Experience surveys to gather feedback, analyze results, and implement improvements to optimize the recruitment process.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, ideally you’ll have experience in the start-up world (<150 headcount). We’d love for someone to have the sharp skill set needed for this hands-on role in our very dynamic environment. Early-stage technology startup experience is a plus.

  • Previous experience working at international and global companies where you have dealt with challenges on a global scale.

  • A good listener: able to hear and understand the different stakeholder's needs.

  • You’re an exceptional researcher and enjoy the process of digging through many rabbit holes to find what you’re looking for.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English. You know how to best describe Waterplan and know how to write something attention-grabbing.

  • Comfortable with the demands of working in a data-driven environment, while we don’t need you to be a data scientist, we do feel it is super important for our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to have some solid data analysis skills.

  • Previous experience building and implementing internal process improvement and analytics is a plus.

  • Previous experience building and implementing stakeholder engagement and alliance strategies is a plus.

  • Desire to constantly improve processes, working autonomously with a great sense of ownership (e.g. if you see something is broken, you’re the type of person who will go and fix it!).

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills, with the ability to organize effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • You love connecting with people and strive to deliver impactful results within a high-energy consistently.

  • Be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina
