If this sounds like you, let's chat! What you’ll be doing This team currently is one person and the client needs to add a more senior UI specialist. Your work will be the face of our company for user interaction. You will be developing the web application for our product (on prem now, will be SaaS also). Customers will login, do their work, share and collaborate using what you build. Maybe a little API work but predominantly on the UI. The partners are essentially the product management team. Plan month long milestones, week long sprints, conduct stand-up morning meetings, and want this person to participate in the product.
- Developing web applications: You will be responsible for writing code to create web applications This could involve developing new applications from scratch or modifying existing ones.
- Testing and debugging: You will test the web application's functionality and performance across multiple browsers and devices.
- Deploying and maintaining the web application: You will deploy the web application in a production environment, monitor the application's performance and troubleshoot issues
- Customer engagement: You will speak to customers and design partners to improve the customer experience. What you bring to the team
- 5+ years of experience developing UI, including writing test code and testing.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React is what we have, Angular, or VueJs/Ember are other examples if the candidate is very confident in ramp up on React)
- Experience building large-scale products
- Knowledge of front-end performance, authentication/authorization, security and usability
- Familiarity with server-side web technologies is a plus
- Experience with deploying services in public cloud infrastructure (AWS predominantly, and very little Azure)
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture - Portfolio of their work What makes you stand out from other candidates (desirable)
- Experience in an early stage startup environment
- Experience on a security team or security product team
- Backend technologies: Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, writing APIs, building data models for databases, Dev on SaaS products. Education
