For a global Beverage and Food Ingredients Producer we are looking for a

Account Manager Beverage and Food Ingredients

Area Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary

home office based in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary

  • this position will focus on beverage, however the candidate should be fine with being potentially in charge of food, too (dairy, snacks, cereals, confectionary, ice cream etc.)
  • You speak a good English
  • you have a native level of Czech or Slovak
  • an asset would be Hungary language Skills
  • beside Sales experience you have also experience with application of food and beverage
  • The Account Manager will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with current clients,
  • ensuring their needs are met, and identifying opportunities to expand business within these accounts.
  • In addition, he/she will actively prospect and acquire new clients, driving sales growth within his/her territory.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who has a passion for the food ingredients industry and strong interpersonal and sales skills.

Tasks

Account Management & Client Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions from our product portfolio.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for account growth.

New Business Development & Sales

  • Actively seek out new clients and business opportunities within the food and beverage sector.
  • Conduct research to identify and engage potential customers, including cold calling, networking,

and attending industry events.

  • Present and promote our food ingredients portfolio to potential clients through meetings,

presentations, and product demonstrations.

  • Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business deals.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company's

client base.

  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product Development, Marketing, and Customer Service) to

ensure clients' needs are met effectively.

  • Provide market feedback and insights to support the development of new products or services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role within the food ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the food ingredients market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food regulations, industry standards, and food product development processes.
  • Results-driven and proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and visit manufacturing

sites.
