Job description

Role Pitch

The French Payroll Specialist is responsible for the entire payroll cycle. The Payroll Specialist will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information following all established statutory requirements and managing the payroll process. The ideal candidate is strongly oriented to high-quality data and results. Accurate communication with clients and with the internal operations team should be performed according to the internal procedures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all payroll activities in line with the monthly payroll calendar and submit the payroll figures on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure the payrolls comply with French legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure accuracy of information before processing payroll.
  • Research discrepancies in payroll information and / or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
  • Validation of the payroll outputs
  • Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
  • Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
  • Prepare the monthly payroll reports and upload them to the CP platform
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure that the hangover of new payrolls is transferred to the In-House team successfully.


Description

  • English and French speaking is essential. English level: B2
  • Expert level of knowledge of local legal requirements, statutory forms, and reporting
  • Expert level in complex payrolls (BIK, stock options/RSU, non-residents, court order…)
  • Proven experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of TeamsRH software would be advantageous
  • International payroll experience would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Business software experience required: Excel, Word, Email Apps, Microsoft Apps
  • Team player with the ability to share information and interact positively with others.
  • Good decision-making skills and forward-thinking, able to plan and organize own workload
