We are a dynamic startup specializing in custom gift products, offering both online and offline retail services. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Authorising Officer to manage our Sponsor Management System (SMS) and ensure compliance with UK immigration regulations. This is a part-time, flexible, and remote position.
Job Description:
The Authorising Officer will be responsible for overseeing the management of our sponsorship licence and ensuring that the company complies with UK immigration laws. You will work closely with the leadership team to manage the Sponsor Management System (SMS) and handle all immigration-related tasks and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the Sponsor Management System (SMS), ensuring all sponsor licence requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate records of sponsored employees, including visa status, employment changes, and salary adjustments.
- Submit necessary reports to the UK Home Office regarding any changes that may affect the sponsorship of employees (e.g., resignations, promotions, or job role changes).
- Ensure the company remains compliant with immigration laws and the requirements of the sponsorship licence.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of records and documents to ensure compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact with the UK Home Office for any queries related to sponsorship.
Requirements:
- Must hold British citizenship or permanent residency.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in compliance management and record keeping.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
Part-time, flexible hours (estimated at least 5 hours per week, subject to needs).
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, with potential for equity participation.
