Responsible for preparation, payment, research of simple income tax filings.
This position has been determined to be “Remote Anywhere”: The work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories.
Typical pay for this role is closer to the $55,000 - $60,000 range depending on experience and location. This role would require someone to go into the Phoenix office a few times per year as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support income tax team in a variety of areas including income tax compliance and tax accounting
• Responsible for the preparation, filing, and payment of simple income tax compliance
• Assist in the preparation of tax accounting
• Conduct research and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders on a variety of income tax matters
• Gather information and respond to document requests from taxing authorities
• Responsible for maintaining due dates, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with the Income Tax group on a variety of income tax filings
• Other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related analytical field required
• MA/MBA preferred
• Job relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CPA)
Related Experience/Requirements:
• 0-2 years of business experience (internship and/or general office), required
• Proficient using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $45,000 and $70,000 per year.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.
